What does ‘staying’ mean today? In a world dominated by transit, by the incessant migration of images, bodies, and information, what happens when something, or someone, deliberately decides not to move? What is the meaning of permanence? Is it an act of resistance or belonging? Is it a limit or a foundation?

The exhibition ‘Immobile in cammino’ was born from this tension: to narrate, through contemporary languages (sculpture, painting, installation, video, photography, and encounters), the forms of presence that persist. The artists were invited to reflect on the notion of fixity not as inertia, but as choice: one can stop by will, by necessity, by destiny, or by revelation.
We were brought in to develop the identity system for the show and to translate this narrative into visuals that convey its passion and romanticism. We started with a basic, solid shape—the square—and used it as a container for our letterforms.
The hero visual is then composed of a series of square shapes, each hosting a rotated letter of the title, which represents the idea of movement without displacement. This generates a flexible hero grid capable of adapting to every medium, from posters to promotional materials, and capable of coming to life through animation in the digital space.
